Commercial Limited Warranty

Backed by a 10-Year Structural Warranty

1. LIMITED WARRANTY STATEMENT

Jamesdar warrants to the original commercial purchaser (“Buyer”) that its products shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal commercial use, subject to the terms, conditions, exclusions, and limitations set forth herein.

This Limited Warranty applies only to products purchased directly from Jamesdar or through an authorized dealer or reseller and is non-transferable.

2. DEFINITIONS

“Defect” means an inadequacy in materials, finish, or workmanship that existed at the time of delivery or causes failure under normal commercial use.

“Structural Integrity” means the ability of a product to perform its intended load-bearing function under normal commercial use.

“Normal Commercial Use” means use of the product in accordance with Jamesdar’s published care, maintenance, assembly, and usage guidelines in a standard commercial environment. Products used in high-traffic or continuous-use environments may be subject to adjusted warranty coverage.

“Original Purchaser” means the first commercial end-user purchaser and excludes resellers or distributors.

3. WARRANTY COVERAGE

Indoor Seating • Polypropylene Seating: 5 years materials/finish/workmanship; 10 years structural
• Steel Frame Seating: 3 years finish/workmanship; 10 years structural
Indoor Tables • Steel Tables: 3 years finish/workmanship; 10 years structural
Upholstered Products • 3 years against defects in workmanship. Fabrics, foam compression, and normal softening excluded unless otherwise stated.
Outdoor Seating & Tables • 3 years finish/workmanship; 5 years structural
Component Parts & Fittings • 2 years against defects in materials and workmanship under normal commercial use, including glides, casters, fasteners, moving parts, and non-structural hardware.

4. WHAT IS NOT COVERED

  • Normal wear and tear, including scratches, dents, chips, fading, and abrasion.
  • Damage caused by stacking, improper handling, improper assembly, or improper installation.
  • Misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper maintenance.
  • Exposure to extreme environmental conditions.
  • Rust, corrosion, or finish failure caused by coastal air, salt air, chlorine, humidity, acid rain, or industrial pollutants.
  • Variations in color, grain, texture, or natural materials.
  • Customer’s Own Material (COM) or Customer’s Own Leather (COL).
  • Products used outside intended application.
  • Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or alterations.

5. OUTDOOR / CORROSION / FINISH LIMITATIONS

Steel products are protected with commercial-grade coatings; however, scratches, chips, and abrasions that expose raw metal are not covered.

Coastal, salt-air, chlorine, and high-humidity environments accelerate corrosion. Regular cleaning and maintenance are required in aggressive environments.

These conditions are considered environmental and maintenance-related, not manufacturing defects.

6. CLAIMS SUBMISSION

To submit a warranty claim, Buyer must provide:

  • Proof of purchase or order number
  • Description of product failure
  • Photographs of the issue
  • Quantity of affected units
  • Date the defect was first observed
  • Serial or batch number if available

Claims must be submitted in writing within 30 days after the defect is first observed. Jamesdar reserves the right to inspect products prior to resolution.

7. REMEDIES

Jamesdar’s sole obligation under this warranty shall be, at its discretion:

  • Repair
  • Replacement with the same or comparable product, finish, or component
  • Credit or refund of the original purchase price

If a product has been discontinued, Jamesdar may substitute a comparable product in its current line.

Buyer is responsible for shipping products for inspection unless otherwise authorized in writing.

8. LIMITATIONS & DISCLAIMERS

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

Except for the express warranty stated above, Jamesdar disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Jamesdar shall not be liable for incidental, indirect, special, punitive, or consequential damages.

Labor, installation, removal, and freight are not included unless agreed in writing.

9. GOVERNING LAW

This Limited Warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California.

10. STATE LAW

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply.

This warranty gives Buyer specific legal rights, and Buyer may also have other rights that vary by state.

11. EFFECTIVE DATE

This Limited Warranty applies to products shipped on or after April 24, 2026.

Replacement parts or products are covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period and do not restart the warranty term.
